| Diabaig
is a small fishing and crofting village. It is set just
above sea level looking towards the Applecross Peninsula.
As a base for walking it offers a wide range of
opportunities, with walks at all levels - wander along
the pier, take the coastal path, walk or climb in the
Torridon Mountains. The village was selected as the location for a significant part of the film "Loch Ness" starring Joely Richardson and Ted Danson The village is eight miles west of Torridon where there is a grocery shop, a hotel, bar and restaurant, with several recommended restaurants and public houses slightly further afield. |
